B&J Free Cone Day

Today is Free Cone Day, in collaboration for fighting against Global Warming; courtesy of Ben N' Jerry Ice Cream!!! Yummy~! I got a Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cone with DOUBLE scoops FOC!! Did I say it was Marvellous? Well yes it was, and it is... forever!!! However, the cone tasted like eeeeee... Pls stick to paper cups, thanks alot guys!! You guys got the best-est ice-cream man, and I love that fat-free Berry Berry Sorbet~~!

Oh, we bought Maddy's birthday present already!!! Its a simple classic yet elegant black metallic watch from Esprit! Suit Maddy perfectly! Cannot find the picture online leh.. Anyway hopefully everyone's free to celebrate with her!! So exciting, Alvin and I plan so much already, wah just realised we have great taste in certain things! Hahaha especially FOOD!! Things are going along to plan, just that have not order the ice-cream cake yet lah..

Today project discussion was ok, nothing much really settled bcos we were not in the mood. So much deadlines to meet, and so little time to do them all. Haiz research and more research!!!

Infineon Badminton Match

My right hand is feeling so suan from this morning's badminton tournament, organised by Infineon Technologies, the previous company I last worked at. My skills were so rusty that even I laugh at myself. As expected, the SPM department lost to the DC department. Hahahaha!! I made a bloody fool outta myself at the last point of the match, although my intention was to create a nice finale to the game, it was not what I anticipated lah. No energy to type out what happened lah. It was so embarrassing that even Han Ping laugh out so loud when I told him after the game. What the heck....

Not going for Edge service for the 3rd time consecutively as of today, bcos I have not started on my essay 3 and the craps projects reports yet. Haiz! What a boring life I got, although studying is better than working, but I'm still feeling darn broke in my bank a/c and pockets!! Ciaoz...

Drama Evening

What a evening I just had! Was pouring so heavily there were huge puddles of water everywhere at Eunos area just now on my way to class.. Was waiting to cross at the traffic light to the block of flats in the cold rain, and that darn stupid traffic lights always took ages to change to green!! Anyway this bus sped past the lights and SPLASH!!! This poor young guy and me kana drenched, or rather our jeans lah. Heng ar, only from bottom of knees onwards.. What an awful sight! You should have seen our spontaneous reactions together just now.. We literally hop backwards on our 2 feet as water splashed mercilessly at us. Both our bags were drenched, music in our earphones continued to scream crazily into our ears, umbrellas held so unsteadily as rain continuously poured from the grey sky above us... What a dramatic experience~

Reached class slightly late, the black sheep din come again, so did Hurley due to last min OT. 2h after Chris and I were laughing at black sheep's absence once more, I smsed him if he was coming for class. He replied back saying that he had deferred the course due to work commitments and was going overseas for work from tml onwards. Now, how coincidental can it can?? After being MIA for 1 week, suddenly RSAF post him overseas so fast! When was RSAF so efficient huh?? He din submit any assignments till date yet, claiming this is his 2nd time retaking this module and now he's gonna defer again.. Really dunno how to bluff sia!! He paid for the entire semester for $4K and you are giving up just like that???!! Chris and I were saying what a bad liar he was etc. Now we gotta do his part of the projects too, heng ar, we took some precautions abt his part.. Forget it, let me just whine!! Arghh.. I hate raining days, or rather evenings! So stressed with those projects due so soon!!!

Tml i got no dinner or a shopping treat from the gals already due to some last minute cancellation lah. Fed up, very very pissed!!!

'House Arrest'

Yesterday was so uneventful to the extent of not needing to blog anything abt it. I was home studying the whole day!! LOL! What a miracle eh.. Was real busy doing my lecture notes and trying to figure out the crap projects' data etc!

Han Ping is not very happy today: firstly he's on standby today, secondly its his 1st mth anniversary with her, thirdly they dun have a date tonight, fourthly he's going home straight after standby, fifthly he cannot makan sushi buffet with me either. Dun be sad boy, pray that she will be free this Saturday ar..

Its been raining cats and dogs since this morning, its almost 4pm and the sky is totally grey! The wind is howling so loudly, rain is coming down real hard onto the ground and I am feeling darn cold! So awful, I got class later and I dun wanna bring a stupid umbrella and get my feet and jeans all wet!! Haiya.. Oh ya, and let's see if that horrible black sheep will come for class today anot.

I keep having this irritating ringing in my ears when I was sleeping today and after I woke up. Its back again! It happened to me once b4 CNY in Feb, doc say maybe lack of sleep. Now it cannot be, bcos all I do now is study and sleep and eat. Hmmm... Hope I'm not thinking too much man.. Haiz.. And I also realised I've been biting my inner left corner gum where the wisdom tooth is whenever I sleep. That explains why that stubborn ulcer there never seemed to go away although I drink buckets of water everyday lah!! WTH!!

Oh yes! I just realised that Google homepage allows its users to choose their theme for the default users' homepage and here's mine: the Bus Stop theme! So colourful leh..



Well I was spoilt for a few nice ones they have, the Tea House, City Scape etc. You can tell how bored I am at home eh. What to do, all my frenz are busy at work or in army sweating blood away. Well at least tml evening can meet Ying Xi and Shi Yun for a short dinner at Bugis! Gals, if you wanna go shopping, can treat me anot? I want some pretty clothes and a nice bag and some pretty shoes and many more!! Hahaha.. I'm so greedy!!




I hate to bathe when its raining so heavily, with the wind blowing thru the bathroom windows, so COLD!!! Brrrrr~~ Darn, I sound so whiny today, it must be the rain!! Rain rain go away, come again another day, lil children wanna play.. or rather go out!!

Stupid Black Sheep

YAY!! Essay 2 down, managed to finish this morning 4am!! Next up is Essay 3 -.- Its ok, this is the last essay for this module! I can tahan one!

The group had a discussion regarding the 2 major projects earlier and lecturer was saying loads of crucial tips to take note. The best tip we heard the entire evening was,"Guys, if one of your group member din do his part as required, its ok we give him the marks as usual, but when come to exam he confirm fail one..." I was still not very satisfied bcos all of us are putting in the effort, but I guess that's the best solution for now and we have intended to kick half his butt outta our nice group. The black sheep has striked again, he din hand in his previous 2 essays nor did his seminar presentation, now never attend class and come for project discussions. Its ok, we practise GRACE, we give him the marks but he will suffer soon!! Loads of research to do for the projects man..

Just acquired Joshua's help in my projects, had Chew Ai's help already but I'm a kiasu SG girl so I getting more help!! Hopefully he can help me alot with these pile of nonsense projects. Met up with Raphael for a lil catch-up session at Suntec, as usual we were talking crap! Oh, finally went with Han Ping to register for Class 3 Basic theory test, its on 20th June 2007 2pm! Lalalala~ I will not fail hor!

Okok, I gotta go rush alot of stuff now, confirm tonight I cannot sleep early bcos I have not completed that darn essay! Ciaoz!

Jesus Died for You and Me!

Today is Easter Sunday!! Many people asked me what is the significance of this special day. Good Friday is special because Jesus Christ died on the Cross to pay for all mankind's sins, with his precious Blood. Easter Sunday is very special because Jesus Christ rose from the dead!! How incredible can this be right? Well it is true and is written in black and white in the Bible, in numerous languages all over the world! I am so happy that particular event took place in A.D 33!

Finally met up with Daniel after 6 long eventful mths! Had a short catching up session with him, and I'm glad everything's going on well for him currently! I have only done 1/2 page of my essay and it is due this Tuesday, as I mentioned b4 I always procrastinate and I guess I shall do it tml evening! I am finally going to register for my class 3 theory and stuff tml with Han Ping lor. Hahaha!! I'm off to bed, dun care the essay~ lalalalala....

I wrote a email out to my project group mates at 4am this morning just to shoot one of them indirectly bcos he was a super slacker who talks alot and does nothing at all. Here's an excerpt of it:
"We would really want full teamwork within this group to achieve our desired grades for this module. Pls do not slacken or expect to be spoonfed when your share of the work is not done. Thanks alot guys, and do appreciate your feedback or clarifications!!"

Then, b4 I went to bed, something weird happened to my eyes or rather my already-lousy vision, and I almost died of shock. Ask me when you see me... I dun wanna write it out here..

Went for Lynette's bdae bbq at Punggol, there were great food there especially my fave sotong! Happy 16th Birthday to you, Lynette! Oh, and that annoying 'lor-li' guy pissed me off so badly today I almost gave him a tight slap on his screwed-up face! Arghh.. not worth frowning over him, he's so so so getting on my nerves!! Oh great, just spilled some milk on my shirt. Haiya.. I still got loads of work to do now.. so back to work now...

Brain Half-Dead

I only slept for 1.5h this morning b4 heading down to church for Good Friday service today. I was so sleepy and tired the whole day, kept dozing off when Pastor Seaward aka "Seaweed" was preaching the sermon especially after lunch. Haha!! Attended "Covenant Friends" and "Beyond Touch N' Go [Discipling and Mentoring]", great seminars they were, and I only dozed off once each time!

Went to meet Han Ping for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market, the food and service were so-so, I'd expected better though... Had a nice LONG walk and chat at Orchard area, was not that crowded though it was a public holiday today.

I realised that there are so many things in our mind and heart that cannot be comprehended by just plain judgement or listening. I dunno how to express or explain in words about this, but how can we understand others better?? What in the world am I talking.. I dunno, I'm just blabbering away lah. What the heck~ And I accidentally deleted ALL my smses from my hp inbox, instead of the Sent Items!! Arghh! All 157 smses...

I'm so in need of help for my Simulation project now, what's with all those accounting jargons and financial ratios etc?!! Chew Ai/ Joshua, I need your help here quick!! I need to know how to invest in the stock market too! This nonsense cost me 20 marks leh!! Arghh~~

YAY!! I'm so happy, finally my laptop is moving on real quick as it should have been! Upgraded an extra 512MB RAM to it, so how are you feeling after this nice makeover, my dear laptop?? I feel so happy for you, bcos w/o you I cannot do my assignments lah! How dare you show me patterns for the past 2 days, trying to sabo me eh?! Your makeover cost me a BIG $100 man!! You better serve me real good for the next 4 yrs man.. Eh and you will be a antique by then. Hurhur~!

Today tutorial class was uneventful, but all our classmates were telling my group that we did well on Tuesday's presentation and how we are so relaxed today, juz watching the rest present while they panicked last minute. Presentations screwed up, they anyhow presented and it was weird. I feel that we did quite well, tackling the various criterias set, we can get at least a 7 or 8 outta 10 man!! I am confident!!! Next up, essay 2 and the 2 major projects!! Stupid Leonard never do his part again.. Why must there always be a black sheep in every group eh?! So annoying leh!!!

It is Good Friday already!! How this holiday actually came about?

Jesus died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, on a particularly significant Friday in A.D 33. John 3:16 in the Bible wrote,"For God so loved the world, that He gave His One and Only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life!" The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is sufficient for all to see, that will only be effective to those who place their trust in Him. Do you trust the Lord Most High? I know I do, in all aspects of my life: be it family, health, frenz, studies or others; I know He is the One who have BIG plans for me already!

Let's all cry out to God in faith as in Luke 23:42,"Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!" We will hear Him say as in verse 43,"Today you will be with Me in Paradise!" AMEN to that promise he made more than 2000 yrs ago!!

Hence, on this Good Friday 6/4/07, let us all thank Jesus for paying for our sins. If you have not trusted in Him yet, DO IT TODAY!!! You will have no regrets doing so, your place is secured up above the heavens and earth. In dying on the cross, Jesus has become the Great Divider between heaven and hell. Make a good choice today, my dearest frenz! God love you so much, so do I~ ^^v

My laptop is 3/4 dead bcos it cannot even move an inch in any of the applications opened. Unsure if it is due to RAM too slow, laptop too old, kana virus or I accidentally did something wrong to it lah. It does not like me now, so do I, and I'm fuming mad!!!! Will send for an upgrade of RAM to Sim Lim Square tomorrow. Arghh!! How am I supposed to do my essay when laptop cannot operate??!!! I cannot afford to die now!

Amos was supposed to meet me b4 going to the wedding reception this morning bcos I din wanna travel alone, but din bcos he overslept again. No wonder he din call to make noise when I reach mrt slightly late. I called him:

Finally the GOOD thing is that the 2nd assignment of the module is finished. Did the presentation in class today, we were the 1st group to volunteer bcos we could not wait to get rid of this. Anyway we all know that usually the 1st group to present, will not kana Q&A from the class or lecturer bcos every1 still in dreamy mood. But of cos, the presentation muz be very gd and thorough with the relevant points in order to convince the class and lecturer too. Well it was not very fantastic but very gd to our standards. Bad thing was we all have the same problem: Stagefright!! But apparently, both my male partners said I was so gd in my presentation although I had to bullshit my way through cos of some inital miscommunication over the presentation sequence. Guess they too nervous then almost cock up their part of the presentation. Well at least this nightmare is over, next one coming up: Essay 2!! OMG~!!

I'm actually not sure if I got enough time to do it leh, tml is Zhu Jia's 21st bdae and we are gonna celebrate!! See lah, another 21st bdae kid. Prob now is we have not gotten any pressie for him, no idea what to get him either. Thursday got class again, Friday is GOOD FRIDAY (it's Kelvin actual bdae!) and I got plans for the entire day!! Lalalala... Saturday got Edge service but I'm not sure if I can go since I have not started on my essay. Oh man.. Amos said,"Honour HIM!!" but I dunno... I just procrastinate on ALMOST any tasks given, unless its important projects. That's me! I wanna slp now, so lack of slp....

Tml is seminar presentation and my group is almost set to go!! Essay 2 not started yet, shall do so soon once I touch up this ppt for tml.. I'm so lack of slp now, I look like a panda now!

Yesterday was Ying Xi's drama musical performance of "The Wizard of Oz" in Chinese. The kids to young teenagers were so fluent and articulated in the language, indeed starting from young is beneficial. When I have kids, I want them to go for these kinda enrichment classes, so gd!! Oh and Ying Xi was the west witch, her acting is exaggerated and its great! Zhu Jia, the twin sisters and I were laughing non stop when she came on during the 2nd part of the performance. LOL! Great job gal~! Had a fun dinner with the twins at Thai Xpress, followed by Ben N' Jerry ice cream for dessert, life is so gd eh ^^v

Went to Kelvin's 21st bdae chalet yesterday night, well he celebrated earlier 1 wk and he invited me last min so I din get any pressie for him. Zhu Jia bdae is this Wed, jialat.. no $$ to buy pressie or celebrate. This yr got way too MANY kids going on 21 leh! And my turn is almost the last few cos bdae in December. I guess by then every1 sian of 21st bdae celebrations and my pressies will turn out real sad case. So people, pls start saving now!! An angbao with lotsa $100 bills will do fine, I dun demand much lah!! Anyway hor, every1 always laugh at me for having my bdae at December, nvm lah gals.. once you all hit the BIG 30, all of you will wish your bdae was in December instead!!! Hahahaha!!!!

And, I miss all my frenz alot, as usual... Ever since I stop working I seem to have lost touch with most people for some weird unknown reasons. Plus no income and having restricted freedom and no life now. I hate it.. however studying is still better than working, that fact I can't deny! Haiz I started off not having the mood to blog, internet and laptop equally laggy now.. craps.. but well its a long entry considering my present not-so-good mood.. And I have not been practising my guitar for a mth already, I'm lazy!
