Chelsea in Malaysia

I did write a short summary of the Chelsea vs Malaysia match at Shah Alam Stadium last week, and in this entry, I elaborate everything nicely in this trip =) Let's start right away with a loud cheer and some "Kallang Waves" then!

We were so happy that our coach actually have personal TV screens, but our happiness was short-lived as the stupid driver forgot to switch on the main switch for the screens. Great, you know. Just great.

And.. did you know that Malaysian coaches actually has 7 forward gears to play with when travelling on the highway, at max 115km/h!?! Comparing with our local cars with 5 forward gears to play with, and speed limit on the highway is max 90km/h, I think.

Since we were up so early in the morning, poor Christine was so tired that she almost turned into Sadako sia. As for me, I was very awake, sadly. Cher Hao ar, sleeps anywhere at anytime one.

We reached KL quite on time, 5 hours from time of departure in Singapore. 1pm = lunchtime! We started to find our way outta IBM Plaza (where we alighted), and headed on to 1Utama Shopping Mall for lunch and shopping! 1Utama is so so so big, with 600 over retail outlets to shop at!

Needless to say, we attempted to find food b4 starting our shopping spree lah. Cheap sushi was on our menu (: -yums-
Going mad with hunger!
Our sushi lunch, with Starbucks latte =p

Shopping thus started, and we headed into Nichii to try some clothes! I couldn't buy any good clothes bcos the cutting was kinda big on me ): I did some pathetic camwhoring though =\ pardon my skills ar.... I'm not a pro, that shows I'm not that 自恋*(narcissistic) lah!

Ultimately I got myself a pair of knee-length jeans, which fitted my legs quite well :D heehee!

The Esprit skirt is nice but so expensive even after discount....

Me going crazy over shoes!
The Last Supper - replaced by pretty prom ladies, instead of Jesus and His 12 disciples. Interesting imitation especially the poses were so carefully similarly depicted! Good~

Dinner at A&W!

Our luggages, shopping bags and rubbish - all in a (3 working wheels) supermarket trolley!
In the public bus (rather nice and better than our SBS buses), attempting to go back to hotel on our own =\
Followed by a LRT train......
Then, the cab..... Zzzzzzz!
Last but not least, our destination =  the hotel room! Awesome 4* =)

Next day, we had lotsa time to spend in KL b4 heading down to Shah Alam. Hence, we made our way to Mid Valley Mega Mall for some lunch and light shopping (:
Lunch: Domino's Pizza!
(above) Spicy Sausage
(below) Beef Pepperoni

After lunch and a stroll around the mega mall, we decided to check out that crazy Fish Spa trend at Kenko Foot Reflexology, for only RM$38!

Rinse feet of dirt and bacteria first.....

Next up, the actual fish-biting-dry skin-on-legs session begins... with much tickle and laughter! LOL (literally)!
Before.....
Just look at their faces lah...
and of course, my big mouth... super ticklishly funny lah!
Notice our hands are rather tightly clasped together (: it's really very ticklish!
After.... Legs all calmed down..... (:
The calmed us, after fish therapy :D
Our pretty smooth feet! (pun intended) ;p
The "claimed" benefits of doing the fish spa. Ha! Gimmicks ;p
Cher Hao & Christine (hidden) playing that revolving door at the mega mall's entrance -.-!
Okok, I'm just as childish lah.... ^^v

On our way to Shah Alam Stadium, cabbing all the way from KL to Selangor!
The massive traffic jam in between both states. Sighs. The meter is still going on.....
The queues even after the match has officially began, we the latecomers!

Some snippets of the game below, as follows:
Green dude at goal post is Malaysia team's goalkeeper (GK).
A small part of the spectators at the stadium!

Malaysia vs Chelsea, and its sponsors.

Yes, many big boys chiong-ing for that darn ball.

First-half over, warm-up for both teams' reserve players for 15 minutes.

2nd-half resumes, Chelsea GK (Petr Cech - No.1) is substituted in with the reserve, Carlo Cudicini (No.23). [Cher Hao loves him, and he went ga-ga over Cudicini throughout the 2nd-half.] Girls go ga-ga over cute guys in boybands, is normal. Boys go ga-ga over male soccer players? Hmm....

The game goes on.....
Some Chelsea players positioned near our sitting areas, both CH & Christine started their camera frenzy again.
Frank Lampard (No.8) about to kick the ball. The crowd is going mad, I tell you.
..... and he kicks that awesome ball! Everyone scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not forgetting us, the ultimate awesome kids in blue too :D

The score was 2-0, obviously Chelsea won. Tough but good and exciting fight! Wheeeeeee!!

Everyone going back home!

All in all, once again I say this, I'm not big fan of any soccer clubs as yet :) The atmosphere at a live soccer match is indeed different, the "Kallang wave" thing and the excitement in the air is very...... nice =D hahaha!
It was worth the traffic jam, the many cab rides, the spoilt watch of mine, the last minute planning for this trip, the hotel that is rather inaccessible, the loss in directions and many more nonsense lah. LOL!
